I’m Gareth and I’m a composer for video games and visual media.
My workflow is an eclectic combination of found sound, synthesisers, live instrumentation and anything else from which I can squeeze a sound. My influences are wide ranging; from soundtracks of games and films, to genres of music too numerous to count. My output leans towards dark, brooding electronic music.
My music and sound design can be found in a number of games across all platforms, including Time Carnage and the multi-award nominated Don’t Knock Twice VR.
My lifelong fascination with both music and video games led to me working, in house, as a one person audio team with a small indie game developer since 2013 and I am now accepting commissions as a freelance composer.
When not writing for media, I releases music as Primorph for fun…
I’d love to hear about your project and see if I can help out with eradicating silence in it! I would also love the opportunity to score for other types of media, so whatever your project I’d love to hear from you.
